The ACM-2420 has been specifically designed for electrical substations as energy measurement device with 5 kV optically isolated VT and CT inputs.
A field termination module is fully integrated in the unit. It has disconnect switches and test points for all input channel.
Two three phase voltage inputs (VTs) are provided for monitoring two busbars. An auto-voltage detection circuit automatically detects the active busbar.
Six sets of three phase current inputs (CTs) monitor feeders branching off from the busbar system.
The module is suitable for delta and star network configuration.
Using the WebCAN Designer, current and voltage ratios can be specified for VT inputs and each CT input group.

The LCD is detached from the module and can be mounted away for easy access.
Scaled values and the module status is shown from all AC inputs including all calculated values.Input substitution is supported and the substituted values are displayed.
The fiber optic field-net communication port is a cost effective plastic fiber system compliant with CANOpen standards.
Modules are arranged in a star topology and can be distributed up to 50 meters.
One ACM-2410 module is integrated in one module bin.
