The digital output channels of the HCM-1620 module are arranged into two 8-output groups. Each group has one master relay, which controls the contact voltage for an output during the execution of a command.
All channels are 4 kV isolated.
One module is can be mounted in one 3U bin.
A field termination module with a local/remote switch is integrated in the unit. The outputs support three stage or also known as controlled output commands.
Onboard contact-weld-monitoring allows secure and reliable operation of high current loads.
With a maximum rating of 10 Ampere at 110 Vdc no interposing module is required for high safety operating requirements in a substation environment.
Using the WebCAN Designer output channel groups can be configured as:
- Controlled Double Stage Output Commands with contact weld monitoring and one-out-of-n output locking
The external panel mount LCD shows all process values and the module status.
Input substitution is supported and the substituted values are displayed.
The fiber optic field-net communication port is a cost effective plastic fiber system compliant with CANOpen standards.
Modules are arranged in a star configuration and can be distributed for up to 50 meters.
