LCM-1620 Low Current Digital Output Module

LCM-1620The LCM-1620 has 2 groups of eight 4 kV isolated digital output channels. Two modules can be mounted in one 3U bin.

A field termination module is integrated in the unit. It features a Local/Remote switch, disconnecting switches and test points for all outputs channels.

The outputs support single stage or uncontrolled commands as well as three stage or controlled commands.

Onboard contact-weld-monitoring allows a more secure operation of controlled output channels.

Using the WebCAN Designer, output channel groups can be configured for:

  • Uncontrolled Single Stage Output Commands accepting latched or pulse commands
  • Raise/Lower Output Commands with programmable number of pulses and variable pulse length

The external panel mount LCD automatically detects two LCM-1620 modules installed.

Process values and the module status is shown from both modules. The output channels are numbered from 1 to 32.

Output substitution is supported and the substituted values displayed.

The fiber optic field-net communication port is a cost effective plastic fiber system compliant with CANOpen standards.

Modules are arranged in a star configuration and can be distributed for up to 50 meters.

Two modules from the same bin are automatically linked to a CFE-20 module through the same fiber optic link.
