The Ethernet switch ETH-10 is fully integrated in the WebCAN system rack RAK-10 providing a local area network for up to four CFE-20 modules.
One additional Ethernet port can be used as up-link for external networking to bay-control units, diagnostics and configuration tools.
All diagnostics LEDs are mounted on the front panel showing the link status and data activities for each port.
The physical connections for each port are provided on the ETM-10 termination module on the rear side of the rack.
Communication Front-end Processors CFE-20 connected to the Ethernet switch can be arranged in subnets sharing all information with other members of the same subnets using the WebCAN Designer configuration tool.
