This manual describes the hardware and configuration software for SystemCORP Embedded Technology's Alarm Annunciator Panel (AAP-10). The AAP-10 provides Visual and Audible warning of a process that has gone beyond set limits or to provide system status.

The AAP-10 is manufactured from universal cells, each 65 x 65 mm, which can be assembled in an array to provide the number of rows and columns required to suit individual panel designs. Each cell within the AAP-10 contains an IO alarm module of 4 digital inputs, 2 relay outputs, and 4 visual alarms illuminated by LED coins where each coin contains 2 LED’s for redundancy. A maximum of 63 LED IO alarm cells plus the keypad panel cell can be set into an array to suit any application (e.g. 64 cell maximum arrange in 8 by 8 cell arrangement).

The fully assembled unit is field programmable via a USB connection on the Keypad Controller cell. The user can define the IO module’s ANSI alarm sequence, the specific visual display LED coin(s), the use of additional output relays (e.g. additional visual/audible alarm or typically used in Ringback alarm sequence), and the use of the keypad cell’s buzzer and/or using an external alarm relay. In addition, the logical AND or OR operation between any alarm cell digital inputs.
