New IEC 61850 Beck DK-61 Library Release

A new IEC 61850 library has been release for Beck-IPC's SC1x3 chips. If your are a new or existing Development Kit (DK60 or DK61) user designing an IEC 61850 application for Beck-IPC's SC1x3 chips please DOWNLOAD the latest library. Note: You must use Paradigm v7.00.047, Beck RTOS v1.50, Clib v2.22 (also see Support notes).

GOOSE Message Performance

We have tested the publishing time with a simulatated load. If you set up two DK61 boards where one is running as a Server and the other running as a Client:

Explain using DK61 as Subscriber and another as Client

Using this new library, the GOOSE message from Server Start of transmission to the Client's end of packet processing is 0.620 milliseconds:
